Women’s Empowerment Project

Glasgow Afghan United (GAU) Women’s Empowerment Project provides a safe space and platform for women from Afghan and other ethnic minority platforms and helps with access to education, employment, leisure, advice and other support.

Sessions and activities include:

Theory and Practical Driving Support

Training Sessions (eg: First Aid, Safeguarding and Protecting Children, Fire and Safety at Home)
Badminton and Tennis
Friday Breakfast Club

Peer Support Facilitation
